This Friday, May 4, at 6pm is the Brighton Science/Art Fair, as well as Choir concert!!! Earth Science students need to bring in their science projects before 6pm for set up on the tables in the foyer. Between 5-5:30 is fine, just not last minute or we will not be able to scurry a table in place. If students are not attending the Science Fair in person on Friday night, their completed project needs to be brought into class on Wednesday, May 2. I will keep the projects and set them up on Friday afternoon. Mrs. Kelso has asked our class if each one of us would please purchase and bring in about 24 mini-bottles of water. The ones that are about 8oz each? If we each bring 24 bottles, that should be 200 bottles for the event. (They said last year they went through a LOT--more than 300!) You can bring these with you on Friday night, or send them in with your student to class on Wednesday. I myself will probably get them from Aldi, since they are so cheap there. But I believe Costco sells them too, in larger packs. Regarding the lab report that accompanies the science project, I originally scheduled that due this Wednesday, but I am going to extend the due date until Monday, May 7. Some students are still working on their projects and don't have time to complete the report before Friday. Yet, the lab report is worth 80 points, so please make sure they are doing them neatly and accurately. They should also be typed. There are many samples of high school lab reports online, in case they need more guidance. I also have one on the class website that is fairly simple. Can't wait to see you there, and see these projects!! Conversation opened. 1 read message. Skip to content Using Gmail with screen readers Search Click here to enable desktop notifications for Gmail.
